LATE VICTORIAN STERLING SILVER THREE-PIECE TEA SERVICE, SHEFFIELD, 1898

Comprising a teapot, cream jug, and two-handled sugar bowl, each of compressed globular form on four scrolled mask-and-shell feet. The bodies profusely chased and embossed with C-scrolls, floral sprays, and vacant cartouches in the Rococo Revival taste, with acanthus-clad handles and ivory insulators to the teapot.
