A Victorian sterling silver ornamental jug, decorated with high-relief repoussé floral swags and scrolling acanthus leaves framing vacant oval cartouches. The waisted neck and helmet-form spout feature chased foliate borders, complemented by a cast C-scroll handle with ivory heat-insulators. Mounted on a chased circular spreading foot, the vessel displays a mirror-polished finish and sharp chased detailing. This piece is a documented example of the mid-Victorian "Armada" style favored by the firm during their height of production in the late 19th century.
