A pair of 'Chêne' (Oak) wall sconces, masterfully executed in clear and frosted crystal by the House of Lalique. This design, originally conceived by Marc Lalique in 1955, draws inspiration from the naturalistic motifs found in the French countryside. Each sconce is composed of two tiers of overlapping, deeply sculpted oak leaves. The crystal features a sophisticated contrast between the satined, acid-etched surfaces of the foliage and the brilliant, hand-polished ridges that capture and refract light. Secured to a stepped, rope-twist chrome mount, these luminaires represent the pinnacle of post-war French decorative arts, embodying the luxury and technical precision synonymous with the Lalique heritage.

Signed ‘Lalique ® France’ to the base indicating manufacture post-1980.
