A magnificent set of three Victorian sterling silver centerpiece bowls, masterfully executed by the renowned firm of John Aldwinckle & Thomas Slater. Dated London, 1889, each bowl features a scalloped rim and a body richly ornamented with intricate repoussé floral motifs and scrolling foliage. The basins are supported by four distinctive cabriole legs, each terminating in a shell-form foot and surmounted by cast lion-mask terminals. Retaining their original luster and presented in excellent condition, this set bears the retail mark of Jay’s of Oxford Street, underscoring their prestigious provenance.
